TrackMaven's Competitive Intelligence Blog

Insights on how to track your competitors

Introducing TrackMaven, the Competitive Intelligence Platform for Enterprise Marketers

Today, competitive research is annoying. Modern marketers have to rely on a patchwork of tools, elbow grease, and Excel to compile basic competitive intel.

We started TrackMaven to fix this. TrackMaven is the competitive intelligence platform for marketers. You shouldn’t have to spend hours and hours to track your competitors only to generate a powerpoint, which is static and dead by the time you hit save.

What are my competitor’s strategies across different channels? What is working for them? What isn’t? Where am I? Am I winning or losing? TrackMaven is dedicated to being the platform marketers rely on for competitive intelligence answering your biggest frustrations. We give marketers one place to analyze the paid, owned, and earned campaigns of their competitors.

We give you three powerful ways to dive into competitive data.

First, our universal feed. Gathering the data and information on competitors from a multitude of different sources is one of the pain points that we wanted to solve for marketers. Our universal feed gives you one feed to keep track of every marketing channel you need. In real-time we help you filter the exact content from your competitors you want to keep track of.

Second, custom alerts tailored to you. Inundated with the flood of your competitors’ activity or are you not getting enough notifications on what your competitors are doing? We made it simple and easy to create alerts on exactly what you care about. You chose the marketing activity you want to monitor and how much you will be alerted all straight to your inbox.

Third, competitive and comparable company profiles. Knowing what your competitors are doing at your fingertips is important, but it’s essential to know how your company is stacking up against them in order to make actionable insights to gain an advantage above them. The company profiles we set up for you lets you see your own marketing statistics and your competitors helping you never miss an opportunity to win.

The team we’ve built is amazingly talented and rabid about building products that make the lives of marketers easier and make their decisions more insightful.

Oh, and we have the cutest mascot of all time: Maven.

If you’re a marketer who wants to beat your competitors, drop us a line. We’re here to help.

Getting Innovative @#!% Done by Ryan Coleman

5 Takeaways

1. Innovation is execution and change.
2. Ask questions the right way. “They can’t say ‘no’ to how?”
3. “There’s no yellow brick road.”
4. Build an environment that enables innovation.
5. Keep up the momentum by asking how not if!

Happy Memorial Day

Here at TrackMaven we hope everyone is enjoying their nice long weekend. We want to wish everyone a great memorial day filled with outdoor fun, grilling and time spent with loved ones.

Most importantly, we also want to take the time to remember who served and sacrificed for this country — Thank you.

Wishing you a happy Memorial Day! It’s the ripe beginnings of summer and we can’t wait to show you everything we’ve been digging up so far.

Happy Memorial Day: Competitive Data Condiment Contest

So what are you doing this weekend?

“Going to the beach.”
“Relaxing by the pool.”
“Walking my corgi.” (oh wait that’s every day…in my dreams)
“Having a BBQ with my friends.”

These are all common responses that I’ve heard for this upcoming Memorial Day weekend.

Memorial Day will always first be the day to remember and honor those who served our country. Yet, it also is a day to celebrate the unofficial start to summer and the warm weather really kicks off the much anticipated grilling season that we all enjoy in the summer. With that being said, we thought it would be pretty cool to put in some of our favorite condiment brands into TrackMaven to see which brand rose to the top.

Here’s to all of the ketchup, mustard, relish, mayonaise, BBQ sauce and hot sauce fans out there. Maybe you have one particular preference, but did the one you chose to put on your grilled items make it to the top with their Facebook data? We partnered with AllFacebook.com to show you this data and check out the original post here!
